Daybreak Community Theatre

Our History:

South Jordan Community Theatre is young and ambitious. It began in the fall of 2007 as Daybreak Community Theatre when Toni Butler approached the Daybreak Community Association to put on a production of The Wizard of Oz. The vision was caught by the community and over 200 people were involved in the premiere production.

Now our ambitious group is a non-profit organization boasting a five-show season in our second year, including an elementary outreach program. Over 1,000 cast members have been involved in SJCT's eight productions!

We are now named South Jordan Community Theatre to clarify the entire community we serve. While Daybreak Community Theatre remains the parent company, our focus and dedication is to the whole City of South Jordan and its surrounding communities. Anyone is welcome to participate in South Jordan Community Theatre!
